Customers will be able to sign up for the data pack at £7.50 a month, with the first month free, for 120MB of data. After that they’re back to £1 a day for up to 15MB, and £2 a MB beyond that.
That’s not exactly pushing the unlimited bundles from Orange and T-Mobile, But if you’re only using it for push email and web browsing it’s probably more than enough. In my first unlimited month I managed to use the huge amount of 30MB. I’m pretty sure it’ll rise as I’ve not got Orb working and have played with streaming radio too. So Vodafone isn’t going to set the market on fire, but it should satisfy the users who are after a more sensible data pricing model from Vodafone.
