Roger posted a few days back about how is friend has written a book on Online Radio.."How internet radio can change the world".
About 10 days later Om Malik posts on the topic too..but his view is worlds [...]

I spent the morning in IBM Bedfont Lakes (hence all the driving!) with 3 players in the OSS market place. So it was an interesting day and I learnt some new stuff about how I could better manage SLA leakage amongst other things. The key part for me was the inventory management elements…so a good [...]

April 27th, 2005 · No Comments
I’ve been subscribing to Business 2.0 as an emagazine using the zinio reader which is nice if a little clunky at times. I managed to get hold of a couple of copies of Business Week and they are more interesting and more upto date and less silicon valley. So I’ve been thinking of not renewing [...]

April 27th, 2005 · No Comments
Just uploading the latest maps to my GPS snooper via RS232..I haven’t played with anything for years that has an RS232 interface. The snooper itself has a power cable and then an RS232 cable. I don’t understand why it couldn’t have had a USB connection. Then only one cable would have been needed…anyway..back to the [...]

Club president

I stayed in the Meridian Etoile Hotel and in the Club president floor. It was cool…you had you’re on swipe card access to the floor and it was great watching peoples faces as you jumped into the lift and pressed “club president”..I overheard one american couple talking softly saying “who is that guy ..is he [...]

sitting in an airport (again)
April 27th, 2005 · No Comments
I’m currently sat in a smoky bar at terminal 2 CDG airport, Paris..again. This time the wireless is working and for 10 euro’s I’m online. I’ve just done my mail and have grabbed some podcasts to listen to on the plane. But now I’m just surfing around.
I’ve spend two days with our telco procurement team [...]

What’s in my bag
April 24th, 2005 · No Comments
From ejhdigdug
I find the flickr tag "what’s in my bag" interesting, it’s great to see into people’s bags and see what they carry around with them. I used to carry a whole heap of junk as a techie, serial cables, cisco roll over cables, screwdrivers and other assorted junk.
I’m determined to have a go doing [...]

Another Sunday afternoon spent packing and sorting stuff out. I’m off to Paris tomorrow and returning Wednesday. I’m staying somewhere nearer the centre of Paris this time, so I may get to see the eifel tower even closer this time.
